Laila earned her B.A. from Seattle Pacific in 1973 and joined the Alumni Office in 1996. Laila brings to her position over 30 years of expertise gained as a professional educator, a licensed realtor, and planting and pastoring a church with her husband. Laila and her husband are both alumni of SPU, as are all three of their children.
