Doug earned his B.A. from Seattle Pacific in 1987 and has been the Alumni Director at Seattle Pacific University since 1996. Prior to being at SPU, Doug worked for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, ran a small manufacturing plant with 50 employees and sold medical/surgical supplies. Doug and his wife Jean have been married since 1992 and have three young children.

Kathy earned her B.A. from San Jose State University and joined the SPU Alumni Office in 1998 as Associate Director. She brings over 30 years experience in alumni and student relations from prior positions at the University of Washington, Fresno State University and UCLA, and as a director of marketing and business development in architectural and engineering firms in the Pacific Northwest.

Laila brings to her position over 30 years of expertise gained as a professional educator, a licensed realtor, and planting and pastoring a church with her husband. Laila and her husband are both alumni of SPU, as are all three of their children.
