Robert D. McIntosh has been the University's vice president for University Advancement since 1996 and is a former student - class of '64. He oversees the Annual Fund; Major gifts; Gift Planning; Corporate and Foundation gifts and institutional grant writing. In addition Mr. McIntosh oversees the University's Alumni & Parents Network, External Relations, Major Events, and Church Relations. Prior to coming to SPU, Mr. McIntosh had a 32 year career in real estate banking and advisory services. He held a variety of positions with three major banks in the Seattle area with his last position as Executive Vice President of Pacific First Bank and the CEO of their mortgage bank subsidiary which at the time was one of the largest mortgage banks in the nation. Prior to joining SPU he founded a company that provided advisory services to nonprofit organizations regarding real estate gifts gifted to or acquired by the institutions. In addition Mr. McIntosh served as a trustee on the University's Board of Trustees for thirteen years and currently serves on the Seattle Pacific Foundation board.
