THE SPU FELLOWS PRESENT:

God Allows U-Turns

Find New Purpose
For Your Writing
Career

When Allison Bottke's life changed, it wasn't merely another bend in the journey. It was a brake-locking, tire-screaming U-turn in the middle of a fast-moving highway in order to head in a completely opposite direction.

KEY NOTE SPEAKER: Allison Bottke

Affectionately known as the "God Allows U-Turns Poster Girl," Allison shares her inspiring story of triumph over tragedy. She is the founder of God Allows U-Turns, an international outreach that includes nonfiction and fiction books, tracts, logo merchandise, a line of greeting cards, a speaking ministry, and a foundation. The cornerstone of the outreach is a Christian inspirational book series many hail as the next Chicken Soup for the Soul. Her first novel, A Stitch in Time, releases this summer from Bethany House Publishers and is in the "hip-lit" or "chick-lit" genre.

But all this came at a price, one with which serious writers are achingly familiar. Her first book was submitted to more than 80 publishers and agents to no avail. Then she changed the focus and the theme and found an agent and soon four publishers competed for the rights to the God Allows U-Turns Series - which became 20 books in just five years! Come spend time with Allison and you'll learn to hold fast, believe, and measure your true worth as an author and a follower of Jesus.

Don't miss this dynamic success story from one of the most engaging Christian writers and speakers you will ever meet. Visist www.godallowsuturns.com and we'll see you next May!
