I want to say thank you. In the midst of this still-uncertain economy, our friends and supporters gave generously to Seattle Pacific University this year. In fact, over the past 12 months, you supported our emerging campaign, established new scholarship endowments, funded academic programs, supported athletic teams, and more. Perhaps most importantly, you made an SPU education possible for many students who could not otherwise afford it. What a remarkable investment.

When you give to SPU, your gift is not an end in itself. Rather, your gift is the beginning of an extraordinary process where we seek to equip our students to make a positive difference in the world. Our students get it. They catch this vision.

Seattle Pacific is the place where world change begins. That’s what I like to say. And I know it’s true. Our graduates are serving all over the world, making life-changing contributions in medicine, business, education, ministry, technology, and so much more. That’s our goal. That’s our vision. And it all begins in this place, in our classrooms, our labs, in chapel, in our residence halls.

Think about how you might be able to contribute even more in the year to come. We have big plans on the table -- plans to take Seattle Pacific University to the next level of influence, effectiveness, and excellence. In order to move ahead, we need your support. We need friends like you.

Thank you again for your generous support of SPU. Thank you, indeed, for your encouragement, friendship, and partnership as we move into the future of this great Christian university.
