It’s remarkable, really. In this season of economic uncertainty and tight personal budgets, our faithful supporters gave to Seattle Pacific like never before. The long list of names here represents those who stepped up to support our vision in so many ways during the past year. I am so encouraged by this incredible generosity. Thank you.
My deep conviction is that Seattle Pacific University is indeed the place where world change begins. This is it — this is the place where we embrace the Christian story at the very heart of all we do. Out of that story of God’s love for the world, we are called to make the world a better place. Through all of the powerful tools of the university, we are called to speak our story of human flourishing into a world that desperately needs to hear the good news. Our faculty, staff, students, and alumni are speaking this good news to the world in countless ways every day.
I am so grateful to you, our faithful partners, who have provided financial support for students who otherwise could not attend Seattle Pacific. And I give you this assurance: Seattle Pacific is a great investment. We continue prudently to manage our resources in these challenging times. And I can say with confidence that we are flourishing. We are financially strong, we are guided by a clear and compelling vision, and we have a stunning track record of accomplishments.
Now we aim to take Seattle Pacific University to the next level of excellence, effectiveness, and influence. That’s our plan for the future. But we need your help. Your giving is critical as we seek to reach out even more broadly into our community, our nation, and our world.
