SPU Mom's Weekend

Hosted by the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations, and by Parent Council

Enjoy connecting with your student and with Seattle Pacific University. From a special meet-and-greet with President and Mrs. Martin, to a fashion show featuring SPU student designs, Mom’s Weekend is a great way to spend time with your son or daughter, meet other moms and their students, share some laughs, and enjoy two days of activities.

Mom's Weekend Schedule


Friday, 7:15–8 p.m.
 MINGLE WITH THE MARTINS
SUB Collegium/Gazebo Room, SPU campus

This is a chance to “meet-and-greet” with the President and Mrs. Martin. Dads are welcome too!
Saturday, 10 a.m.
REGISTRATION (Doors open at 10:15 a.m.)
Upper Gwinn Commons, SPU campus

Meet other moms and students, and prepare for the day.

BRUNCH & FASHION SHOW
Upper Gwinn Commons, SPU campus

Enjoy a time of fellowship with other moms and students during this special meal with Mrs. Pam Martin; watch an SPU student-produced fashion show featuring student fashion designs, as well as items from a favorite local boutique, Queen Anne Dispatch. The show highlights SPU’s world-class Clothing and Textiles Department, a rare treasure in Christian higher education. The program is known for its leadership and excellence in the design community.

SPU options include:
  • Explore campus. Visit residence halls, tour campus, and eat in Gwinn Commons.
  • Volleyball. SPU Women’s Volleyball vs. Western Oregon @ 2 p.m.; Royal Brougham Pavilion.
  • Soccer. SPU Men's Soccer vs. St. Martin's @ 7 p.m.; Interbay Stadium.
